James H. Mitchell

Mr. James Henry Edward Mitchell, age 92, of Nashville, TN passed away Monday, January 28, 2026. He was born on February 10, 1933, in Nashville, TN to James Mitchell and Flossie McAddo. Mr. James was a deeply loved member of his community, known for his kindness and devotion to his loved ones. He is survived by a large and cherished circle of family and friends who will miss his presence, wisdom, and gentle spirit.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 10, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Sacred Woods Funeral Home, 10487 Bold Springs Rd, McEwen, Tennessee. Pastor Chris Bohanon will deliver the eulogy.

Interment will follow the service at Rogers Cemetery, McEwen, Tennessee.
